Médoc Express — Pharmacy delivery platform for Benin
A platform connecting patients, pharmacies and couriers to order medicines and get them delivered in Cotonou, from concept to business model.
The context, the challenge, what I built.
Context
Benin's pharmacy market is still largely in-person. Medicine availability varies from one pharmacy to another, and home delivery is barely organized.
Challenge
The service had to fit the local context, be financially viable, and serve patients, pharmacies, couriers and platform administrators alike.
Solution
• 18-page specification describing user journeys and business rules
• 60 UI/UX mockups covering 4 roles: patient, pharmacy, courier, administrator
• 5-year financial model in Excel to validate profitability
• Laravel foundation structured with Domain-Driven Design (DDD), ready to scale
Results
A project ready to be developed and presented to partners or investors, with a product, budget, and coherent architecture. Development progress, 2 partner pharmacies.
In Benin, finding a medicine often means visiting several pharmacies, sometimes while sick.
Médoc Express lets people order from a pharmacy online and get it delivered to their door.
I led the project end to end: specifications, mockups, financial model and technical foundation.
